Thunder and Hurricane Premiered in Hanover, PASquare Round Table Productions just kicked off the release of its first feature length film, Thunder and Hurricane, with a premiere at the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center in Hanover, PA on April 29, 2005. More than 400 attendees were present including cast and crew, media, individuals from the community, and supporters of the film.When doors opened at 6:30pm, attendees arrived dressed in their very finest. Film crews from local television stations interviewed producers Danny Tanner and Steven R. Hoover, as well as filming guests as they arrived. The evening began with a piano performance by local talent Herb Sell, followed by the showing of Thunder and Hurricane. Laughter filled the theater as viewers watched for the very first time and followed the adventures of main characters "Rufus" and "Silas". Following the movie, Tanner and Hoover made a special presentation to the audience, introduced cast and crew, and honored supporters of the film. The Iron Ridge Bluegrass Band, a local group featured in the movie, entertained attendees during the reception time following the main event. The special 2-disc DVD set of Thunder and Hurricane was also made available for the very first time. The DVD may now be purchased online or at various locations in the Hanover, PA area. The evening was a real success and Square Round Table Productions is appreciative to all who came to celebrate the special event. |
